Explanation:

The people who are called to temporarily administer the republic are not owners, but servants; and the governed are not subjects, but citizens. And the sovereignty, that is the power to make choices that involve the entire community, belongs to the people, in accordance with the concept of a democracy, from the Greek demos (people) and kratìa (power). However, this power is not to be exercised arbitrarily, but in the forms and within the limits established by the rule of law.

1. From what I read it seems B and D are your most logical answers. I am leaning towards B, but D can also be a possibility.

2. I would say either A or B because those were his most famous classical pieces of art. I am mostly leaning towards A, but I am sorry if I got this wrong.

3. You would include Venice and Genoa. During the late Middle Ages, Northern and Central Italy became far more prosperous than the south of Italy, with the city-states, such as Venice and Genoa, among the wealthiest in Europe. The Crusades had built lasting trade links to the Levant, and the Fourth Crusade had done much to destroy the Byzantine Roman Empire as a commercial rival to the Venetians and Genoese.

I hope that I helped, I'm so sorry if it is wrong or isn't much. I want to help everyone that I can.
