Therefore number of children's ticket = 775-x
Cost of adult ticket ×number of adults tickets + cost of children's ticket × number of children's ticket = 1487.50
2.50x + (775-x)1 = 1487.5
2.5x -x +775
1.5x = 1487.5-775
1.5x = 712.5
x = 712.5÷1.5
x = 475
Numbers numbers of adult ticket sold = 475
Numbers of children ticket sold = 775-475
