Given that :

For (¾)th of water in the container, number of cups of water required = 2½ = 5/2 cups

a.

Fraction of the container to be filled = 1 - (¾) = ¼

Now assuming that x cups of water is required to fill rest of the container, the proportion can be formed as :

(¾)/(¼) = (⁵/²)/x

So, x = 5/(2 × 3)

= 5/6 cups

b.

Full containers holds = (5/2) + (5/6) = (15 + 5)/6 = 10/3 cups

So, half of the container will hold = (10/3) × (1/2)

= 5/3 cups

F=ma

where F=force

m=mass

a=acceleration

Here,

F=4300

a=3.3m/s2

m=F/a

    =4300/3.3

    =1303.03kg

Volume of rectangular prism=length * width * height

Given,

length=3/8cm

breadth=5/8cm

height=7/8cm

therefore volume=(3/8)*(5/8)*(7/8)

                           =105/512 cm3
