What economic changes are occurring with the diffusion of this popular culture?

The TV Business is starting to get more popular and its starting to open there eyes to the technologically advanced rest of the world.

What predictions can you make for Bhutan's economic Future?

I predict it to keep advancing technologically because TV was a sensation across the country and that might have opened curiosity and they may try to test out other technologies.

Explain two different social changes occurring in bhutan with the introduction of television.

More people are forgetting to pray sometimes so that has an effect on them and has caused them to stop watching tv, and other people are against it while most love it.

What Challenges do you expect the society to face as more Bhutanese have access to television?

Some challenges I see are that people might start getting more aggressive and be influenced by what they saw on TV, like those young kids who were imitating wrestling when on the screen it said “ Don’t try this at home.”

Politically i think leadership has changed a bit and they are facing issues with the TV situation.

What issues do you think the government might face in the future as television becomes more popular?

They may have to make a code of censorship for some things that aren't ethical. They’ll also have to worry about people imitating what they see on TV.

Bhutanese people are proud of the environment they live in. Explain how their interaction with the environment might change with this access to popular culture

Its gonna change alot, they’re gonna start advancing more and more and there budhist practices might vanish.
