This Privacy Policy describes how Studen and its subsidiaries including; or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries (collectively referred to as "Studen," "we," "us," "our") collect, use and process your personal information. When you purchase products, register or visit our sites that host this Privacy Policy, we collect certain personal information about you. As stated below, this Privacy Policy applies to the services you use. Please read it carefully. This Privacy Policy takes precedence over any conflicting privacy statements in connection with any of our products or services that you access and/or use.

  1. Information we collect.

    1. Information you provide.

      Studen offers a range of products, websites, services and browser and/or mobile applications ("Apps," collectively referred to as "Services"). While the registration on our sites is optional, please be aware that you will not be able to use any of the features of our Services unless you register. Depending on the nature of your interaction with our Services, you may provide us, our agents, vendors, consultants and other service providers (collectively referred to as "Service Providers") with the following data; and the Services may contain hyperlinks to websites, locations, platforms, applications or services operated by third parties (collectively referred to as "Third Party Services") requiring information that may include:

      • your name, email address, username, password, address, zip code, phone number, credit card number, gender, educational institution, year of graduation, and other registration information;

      • transaction-related information, including your orders for any Services, downloads or other features, or purchases you make from us, if any;

      • information you otherwise provide to us, such as when you contact us (for example, for assistance); and

      • other information related to your use of specific offers from our Services.

    2. Information that is collected automatically.

      We, our Service Providers or Third Party Services may automatically receive or collect certain information from you when you use the Services. Such information may include:

      • the way you connect to the internet (including the browser and/or type of device you are using) and the name of your internet service provider or wireless carrier;

        technologies, including but not limited to web beacons (also known as "tracking pixels"), embedded scripts, location technologies, fingerprinting, device recognition technologies, tracking methods embedded in applications, and other tracking technologies, existing and future ("Tracking Technologies") that may be used to collect information about your interactions with the Services or emails, including information about your browsing and purchasing behaviour. Cookies store your preferences and make browsing easier and allow us to use the stored information to facilitate and improve the Services we provide to you.

    3. Information received through applications.

      Depending on the device you are using and your app permission settings, we may collect or access the following types of information when you use the Apps:

      • Saved information and files. It allows applications to read, modify, or delete files on your USB storage, including photos and video clips.

      • Camera. It allows applications to take photos or videos.

      • Other. Apps will send and receive data to and from the internet, and may view network connections, gain full network access, or prevent your device from going to sleep.

      We may use your information to:

      • process your registration, manage your account (including payment information and preferences), and offer you the Services and preferred features (including any personalised features you have requested);

      • improve our Services;

      • other purposes that we disclose when you provide us with your information or as otherwise required by law;

      • response to your inquiries;

      • fulfil your requests for the Services;

      • provide you with updates and other information regarding the Services;

    2. Policy on sharing your information.

      We may share your information:

      • with our Service Providers, if they are working on our behalf;

      • with Studen affiliate companies whose content and offers may be of interest to you. We do not share your personal information with non-affiliated third parties for marketing purposes unless we have express permission from you;

      • if we believe that your actions are contrary to our terms of use or other applicable terms or policies, or to protect the rights, property, life, health and safety of Studen, the Services or their users, or any third party;

      • in the event of a transfer of ownership as set out below;

      • if required by law, law enforcement or other legal process and, where appropriate, in response to government or judicial requests (for example, a court order, search warrant or subpoena); and

      • in other cases where we have a good faith belief that the user has committed or is committing a crime.

        Studen may implement Google's invisible reCAPTCHA technology on its Websites to reduce spam and prevent abuse of our Websites. The use of invisible reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

  3. Draws, contests and promotions.

    We may offer draws, contests and other promotions (each one referred to as "Promotion"), including any Promotions sponsored or offered in conjunction with third parties that may require you to provide information about yourself. If you voluntarily choose to participate in a Promotion, your information, including personal information, may be shared with Studen, Promotion Sponsors, Service Providers and other third parties, including for administrative purposes and as required by law (for example, in the list of winners). By participating in a Promotion, you agree to be bound by the official rules governing this Promotion, which may include consent to additional or different data processing practices, which, in the event of a conflict, will take precedence over those contained in this Privacy Policy. Please read such official rules carefully.


  4. Information disclosed publicly or to third parties.


The Services allow you to post or submit User Content (“User Content”), including, but not limited to: written content, user profiles, audio or video recordings, computer graphics, images, data or other content, including personal information. If you decide to post your User Content in any of the Services’ public area, your User Content will be considered “public” and will be available to everyone, including Studen. Notwithstanding any contrary provisions, unless otherwise expressly agreed with us, any personal data the User Content contains is not subject to our data use or transfer restrictions or other obligations and may be used and transferred by Studen and third parties to the greatest extent possible, not prohibited by current legislation. We suggest that caution be used when deciding about publicly disclosing certain information.
