According to the question the balanced chemical reactions are:-
4NH3 (g)+ 5O2 (g)-------> 4NO (g)+ 6 H2O(l)
6NO (g)+ P4 (s)-------> P4O6(s) + 3N2(g)
Nitrogen prevents further oxidation of P4O6 into P4O10.
P4O6(s) + 6H2O(l) -----> 4H3PO3(l)
4H3PO4(aq) --------------> PH3 (g)+ 3H3PO4 (l)
On adding all the reactions we will get a final reaction. That is:-
4NH3 + 5O2 +2 NO -----> 3N2 + PH3 + 3H3PO4
Now we will apply stoichiometry in the last final reaction :-
According to stoichiometry
4 moles of ammonia gives 1 mole of phosphene gas (PH3)
4×17 g ammonia gives = 34 g of PH3
1 g ammonia gives = 34/4×17 g of PH3 gas
1.5 g of ammonia gives =( 34/68)×1.5
= 0.750 g
